paypal fees - reducing them

hi, I think about 70% of my sales are £6 or less, and about 80-85% £10 or less
i understand paypal offer a way of reducing fees for low value transactions - the downside being as its a fixed percentage without the 20p mark up, you pay more on a high value item..
can anyone explain / send me link?
assume I can chcnage my private paypal account over ok?
thanks

This should give you some ideas - http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/How-to-Make-PayPal-Work-for-You-UK_W0QQugidZ10000000004571603
I've got a micro-account myself, and there is no problem with swapping it over - although if you sell a mix of item values, then it is worthwhile having two paypal accounts to receive the funds, one micro, one normal for higher value items. You need one bank account per paypal account, and a dedicated email address for each of the payment types.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
You can have one micro account and a normal premier or business account

I decided to try again and open a micro payment aco!!!!, but how the *** do you get past the first screen? It recognises that I have an existing account and tells me I can change that, but I don't want to I want to keep my existing account and just open a new one..but it won't let me...arghh.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Determined not to give up again this time so I ended up opening another basic account and requesting a conversion to micro payment account as soon as a/c was opened.
Apparently I should have my request actioned in around 2 days, I assume they will just email me to confirm?
That means I can keep the main account for my business where most of my sales are £10+ and use the micro account (assuming it is agreed) for my private sales where the prices tend to be under £10.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. This is Paypal they don't email you to let you know anything useful. You have to guess. The only way you normally know is after a transaction and you can see the costs
I should have known that really shouldn't I?
I must remember not to expect ebay or paypal to be user friendly!
OK, I've altered my email addy on some listings ending tomorrow and I'll see what happens if they sell.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Even that wasn't easy..I did it a rather strange way. I followed this link that cyberbob added:
https://micropayments.paypal-labs.com/
Then when it asked me to log in, I logged into the account I wanted to change and did it that way. Obviously though I have no way of knowing if it worked, apart from the message that it would be dealt with in 28 hours there is nothing else to say that I have made any changes at all.

I have a theory about Micropayments that Paypal don't really want you to know about them because your fees will be lower so they make less money. When I changed one of my accounts last year it took ages to search down the information and find the link I gave you. I did it the same way as Soolin and it worked fine about 2 days later. Let us know how it goes0
