Free Haircut with Herbal Essence Shampoo

in It's gone, but was it any good?
There are a number of Herbal Essence Shampoos and Conditioners that have a free haircut "opportunity".

Buy a clearly marked bottle - says "free haircut" in big letters! (cheapest about £1.79), fill out an online form with the bottle's code, and post with proof of purchase. There are various salons participating, for details check on the herbal essence website:

Not strictly free I know, but maybe a cheap treat for MSE'ers.

    Don't know if I've just been unlucky but bought a bottle of shampoo, went online and put in the code, which came back said "code unacceptable" then tried to call the helpline (0870 grrrrr) and its constantly engaged. Will try once more then give up.

    Why dont they just show you the participating salons! At least then I would know if i can get there on the bus :(

    thanks soooo much, i really need a haircut and theres 2 salons participating that are only a bus ride away! i was sort of hoping there wouldnt be as i hate hairdressers:o but suppose ill have to go....:p

    do you think someone wrote down the code and used it without buying the bottle?

    I know what you mean, it tells you the area but not the salon name etc so it's impossible to check first.

    Wow thanks for that link. i didn't bother going for my hair cut last year as thay sent me a voucher for somewhere miles away, but I see they have the the town nearest to where I live on there this time. So I will rush out and buy a bottle. My hair is a complete mess.
