Wilkinsons also set up a bogof with big special stand at £1.69, (but some scan at £1.49 so its possible to get 2 x 200ml bottles for £1.49). Some have the haircut offer, some dont.
Also, when inserting code, dont insert the separate last 3 digits eg "L07" or similar.I have gained from advice as well as bargains here, so if I can help in any way, I am only too pleased to do so and appreciate your thanks.0 -
I took this offer up last year (I am a bloke) and didn't have any hard sell. However, I did feel sorry for the lady who was running the salon. She had been approached by TLC (who managed the promotion) to see if she was interested in being part of the the promotion with assurances it would bring more clients in. The salon does not get paid any money at all to be part of the promotion. However, the salon I went to was one of very few in the area and she was inundated with clients wanting free hair cuts. One problem is that nearby is a large Asian community...and Asian women tend to have long hair.... and also are highly unlikely to travel that distance to get a hair cut if they had to pay - but would if it was free. In the end she had to turn people away as she didn't have the capacity.
I guess it depends on the area you live in as to how easy it is to get a free appointment - but TLC aren't the best at running these promotions with 'us' in mind. They ran a similar promotion for Nectar card recently offering free activities or pampering and couldn't satisfy the demand. Complete waste of time that was for me.... offered me a day a a gym instead of my preferences of reflexology or Reiki.0
