Has anyone actually been to have their haircut, i am a bit concerned that as its a free cut - they would probably be in a real rush to get you out, or do a hard sell on products. On the plus side I suppose a haircut costs about £30.
    So if you spend
£3 - on buying the shampoo and the SAE
£5 - tip for the person cutting your hair
£5 - buy a product from the salon
You are still only paying £13.
Might give it a go as the offer is still running. Maybe I will send my mum 1st as a test.

Erm.. if you need to post the till reciept with the application.. then you can't get 2 haircuts with a BOGOF offer can you??

2 bottles of shampoo and a haircut is very good for £1.79 though! :):)

The quality of the cut and whether or not you get a hard sell must depend on the salon?

I've had one of these cuts (in London) and it was lovely - I got the salon senior stylist who also owns the salon. She spent ages doing a good job (mind you, I do have really long hair), got a glass of bubbly to sip whilst waiting and she used excellent products with no obligation to buy. She said that she'd had a lot of people in using the offer and to her, it's all great advertising as she's hoping word-of-mouth will get her new regular clients.

I hope everyone else gets the same positive experience.

I posted two applications with a single receipt for, if I remember right, two for £3, and got two vouchers back within a few days.

I had my hair cut on a similar offer a couple of months ago- another freebie- and I also had a fab experience. The stylist made no effort to push products onto me- and he couldn't have been more careful and attentive. I was pampered and he spent ages getting everything just right. I was really pleased with the result. I was even given a voucher for £10 off my next visit.

i used my voucher wednesday for a salon in henlow. It was fab.The salon director spent 2 hours doing my hair(its very thick!)When i asked her if she gets some money reimbursed from herbal essences, i was completely shocked when she said they get nothing at all from them. She said the only thing they hope to get is new long term clients.I suddenly felt very guilty getting my hair done then! She did not push any products on me.She even told me that it was in her interests to do a good job so that i would return in future.i gave her a £5 tip.

Sounds good but be careful. I booked an appointment using this offer last year. When I arrived at the salon they did not have my booking and said it was probably another branch. Also told me neither they nor the other branch participated in this offer. When I asked why I had not been informed when i booked and mentioned at the time the offer , I was told the staff cannot be expected to remember which offers are running at any one time. WHAT !
No haircut. I was offered another offer by promo company but unable to use in end. NOT AS GOOD AS HAIRCUT VALUE.

Can more than one person at the same address send off for this offer? My hubby would like it too (though is haircuts cost much less than mine!). The only stipulation I could find was that you could only have one offer during this promotion period, so presumably more than one offer could go to the same address?

Oh, and the 400ml bottles are buy one get one at Boots, too!
Hi , it does say on the FAQS page which il quote here:

Q Can other family members apply for a free haircut?
A Yes, the offer is one free haircut per customer, not household. Each individual application must have a till receipt as proof of purchase.
    I hope that helped.
  • I have my voucher. I had a hircut last year with this offer and I was very pleased with it. I got lots of compliments. Unfortunately my town, though on the list of venues is not now available, but they have sent me one for a town not tooo far away. Now I know that you can have more than one per household I will get one for my DD too. Thanks for that info.
