Anyone noticed how the codes that are coming out are not now ok to use with sale items? I'm really bummed-out by this... but the thing is, it's not consistent...
CD-WOW had a sale on this weekend - Pre-Xmas Sale - and I bagged the latest Metallica for £4.99 (£5.99 minus £1 for a voucher). This sale went through fine.
This morning I went to order a pre-release title (Eagles Of Death Metal), but the system refuses my voucher codes & states that they can't be used in a sale!
A) I used a voucher in a sale only the day before, andA 'pre-release' isn't a sale, is it?!
I'm not a happy bunny :mad:No signature here. Move along please.0 -
The bizarre CD-WOW pricing continues - still can't use the vouchers on 'sale' items, which are NOT sale items & are infact just regular new releases...
...aaaannnnd, if I use a different browser that isn't pre-programed with the DVDTimes 50p discount link, all the prices rocket - in FireFox the new Eagles of Death Metal is £12.99! (It's £7.99 using Safari).
Anyway, this isn't a pointless post, cos I'm giving away my £1 code that finishes today:
PB427 OGZ3H 6RAUO FL1
I have 2 others that finish tomorrow but will be waiting to see what the site does over night. If it's still screwy & refuses my codes on pre-release CDs, I'll post those too.No signature here. Move along please.0 -
So CD-WoW have corrected their prices & things are back to normal, except that the 50p discount link from dvdtimes classes any purchase as a sale item - this is where my problems were starting 9I used to be able to combine the link & the vouchers, but no more).
I used 1 code via FireFox this morning to get my EODM album for £6.99, so that's cool, but I have one more voucher that I'll not be using, so here it is:
PXHYZ 5TFJC OVQM1 TBF - Use by 23rd Oct (TODAY!)
Enjoy.No signature here. Move along please.0 -
JUST GOT A 1 pound voucher also -
You may have noticed we made a slight mistake with our pricing this week. We're awfully sorry so to make it up to you, here is a free £1 voucher for you! This voucher expires Wednesday 29th October, so don't miss out!
