Ahh, I see where you're coming from. I'm not interested in having several current accounts just to gather incentives - I do have three current accounts, apart from my main account, but they just sit there to be used in an emergency. I'm happy to earn rewards on the account I use day to day which might explain my comment.
This is the Money Saving Expert forum, so you'd expect it to be populated by people who are experts in money saving, or who would like to become such. Clearly, nobody is forced to be either but the question is then what they expect to find on the forum.

Well I would expect to find users here with a wide range of opinions - those who like to earn money from incentives designed to reward genuine account holders and those who are less approving of such activities with plenty in-between. 'Budgeting and Bank Accounts' suggests a discussion forum about all sorts of things connected with those terms, not just how to make free cash. Certain users here suggest they call the shots and decide what is acceptable to discuss and what isn't.

    TBH, that sounds like petulance:cool:.

Not interested in their 5% regular saver?

    Petulance is good.

Couldn't get that. As they wouldn't let me have the £150 account, I joined up for two ordinary at £75 a piece, so not eligible. Good point though, had they played ball with me then yes, I would have taken advantage of the regular saver.

Says the poster who just wants to make free cash and isn't interested in doing anything other than running the account, such as e.g. earning interest on their money.

Whatever. You think what you like and I'll think what I like and never the twain shall meet. You can't even get the name of this forum right. I will not engage with you any further.
