Martin Lewis on TV this morning mentioned a broadband & landline deal with BT for £29.99, 18 months fixed! Beware, this is not a fixed price for 18 months but you will be in a contract with them for 18 months. I just had a discussion on line where I nearly signed up with them thinking I was getting fixed price for 18 months, but after a bit of probing realised they can freely increase the price from March 2020. When I asked by how much, they didn't know, but said they thought it may be by 2% but with no guarantee, could be more than that.

    The deal clearly states that there will be no increase in 2019, which sort of implies that a increase after that.
