EON Fix 2 Year MSE Collective Feb 2019 - smart meter ?

Is a fitting of a smart meter mandatory in the EON Fix 2 Year MSE Collective Feb 2019 tariff ?

There doesn't seem to be any info on this on the cheap energy club page.

I hope it isn't as I have no interest in this until smets2 meters are being fitted.

    By choosing this tariff you agree to be contacted, where eligible, for the installation of a smart meter and have one installed for each fuel we supply

    Hello colalba and I can confirm, our Fix 2 Year MSE Collective Feb 2019 tariff isn't conditional on smart meters.

    Also, we've started rolling out SMETS2 smart meters and are increasing the number installed all the time. Keep an eye on our website for updates.

    See where you're coming from Quentin as this term is included in certain of our Fixed Tariffs but, as PennineAcute says, these tariffs are different from the Fix 2 Year MSE Collective Feb 2019.

    As above, I can confirm our Fix 2 Year MSE Collective Feb 2019 tariff isn't conditional on smart meters.
