American Express (Amex) Preferred Rewards Gold

In the blurb about the benefits of this card it says that the £5k doesn't have to a cash spend but could be a balance transfer. Where does it say this in the Ts&Cs and also does a balance transfer not incure a fee of 3% which eats into the benefits?

Could you give a link to that balance transfer blurb? I'm not seeing that offer on that card.

Forgive me, I'm seeing nothing about balance transfers onto any Amex card on that page

(and no mention on the Amex site for that card either)

I now realise I misread this part "just shift normal spending from other plastic to it." as balance transfer.🙄

Had this card for a week but it always says there are no offers available. Same when I try to save the Deliveroo cashback offer. I assumed these would be for all customers?

Been a while since I did this but you need to "enrol" with the various Amex "partners" before you can get access to things like the Deliveroo cashback.

Have you logged into your account on the website and tried going to Rewards & Benefits?

Don't have that card so can't check exactly what you'll see but my account has all the stuff I'd expect.

There is an "Amex Offers" section but it says "Available Offers (NaN)" and "You currently have no available Offers. Please try again later.".

I just went on chat and they said it may take some time for offers to appear so think I'll just have to wait.
