How can I lower my monthly payments for my Admiral car insurance mid term?

I currently have car insurance with Admiral and have done for the past few months, is there anyway I can lower this mid term without paying any extra?
For instance, lowering milage, adding excess etc?
Any help would.be appreciated!

Sure, but you may incur admin costs and it won't usually lower your premiums. Paying monthly is the worst way to pay insurance, you paying it with interest effectively"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Why would they want to lower your premium it isn't a mobile phone contract...you have agreed to pay a price for a year and changes to mileage and excess make little difference in the scheme of things?
In fact I usually find that lowering the mileage can increase the premium presumably because the more you drive the more experience you have .0
