Allianz pulling out of direct insurance market

I received the following email today.
Just thought it made interesting reading!
Important: We will not be renewing your policy
Your car insurance policy number: xxxxxxx
Dear Mr Phillips,
Your Allianz car insurance is due for renewal on 12/09/2016.
We wanted to let you know that we’re no longer selling car and home insurance directly to customers. This means we won’t be offering you a renewal quote.
This won’t affect your cover over the rest of your policy, any existing claims, or your ability to get an insurance quote from another company in future.
However this does mean that from 12/09/2016 you’ll need to make sure that your car is covered by another insurer.
