Hi all, newbie here, newbie to all forums so please help.
Today I received a charge notice from cp plus stating that I overstayed the parking limit at Lymm Services. On the notice it shows 2 photos, one of my vehicle entering and one leaving. The first pic has my vehicle with no roof load, the second my car has a canoe on the roof. Should I ignore the notice as ive read elsewhere or what should I do please. the notice states I should pay £100 or a reduced rate of £50. If not paid within 28 days then another £40 added for admin.
Please advise

Do not ignore and do not pay - appeal and win.
Send the standard template which can be found in the newbies thread.
If CP reject your appeal then win a POPLA instead - a winning POPLA appeal can be found at thread #7 in;

Exchange of loads with another car or did you double dip at the same services? If the latter, add that to the appeal you have created as ezerscrooge has guided you to create.**********************************************

in casse your unsure a double dip means that you visited the site twice, however the sCamera recorded your 'In' on the first visit, and your out on your second visit, therefore stringing two visits into one.
If this is correct then the systems are clearly malfunctioning, and it could possibly be argued that this is a fraudulant act by Moto Hospitality via the actions of their agents.

I trust you have now found the thread 'Private parking ticket? Newbies please read these FAQs first'? If not then get off this thread by using the 'Forum Jump' (click GO) and read the sticky and use the template first appeal.baiellspud wrote: »Hi all, newbie here, newbie to all forums so please help.

Then read ahead 'How to win at POPLA' (hyperlink in post #3 of the same sticky thread) which has a recently written CP Plus 'MSA' example in it. You could just add the point in bold to the appeal points saying clearly this is two visits, because the Service Station doesn't sell canoes! Be careful not to imply who was driving though.
No idea why so many people this week are posting without reading the sticky (a top thread) that already tells you the answer, with copy & paste templates to win the appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Your appeal should be that their ANPR is clearly not working and that they have one entry photograph and another exit one, as can be seen by the canoe being on the roof in one photo and not on the other. Either cancel the charge or send a POPLA code where you will expand the appeal point and add others.
