Age related premiums ????

Hi all, Following a previous post has anybody any information on age related premiums in Income support or Incapacity benefit ?? I did ring DWP but they said they had not heard of such a premium. Previous post Daniel also queied this one , any help anyone ????

There is an age addition for long-term Incapacity Benefit if the person was under age 45 on the first day of incapacity for work. This would only apply to people already getting IB as no one goes on to incapacity benefit now.0

There are actually 2 "age addition" premiums, one as sleepless saver states for those under 45 on the first day of incapacity, the higher premium is for those 35 and under on the first day of incapacity.
