we'll i've still not got them, and a tracking number from hermes that is not recognised. this company is very capable of lying to customers, and i wont be using them again.
Are you referring to the seller or the couriers here?

Oooh yes!! Check out the Thorntons thread.. Someone had their chocs flung over their garden wall in the rain, someone else had theirs delivered on the porch according to their online tracking, hermes hadn't even bothered to ring the bell

Hence why a few of us call them Herpes :D

does Hermes do all the deliveries for this company? if so i have to say i got lucky, the gentleman that delivered them to me yesterday is one of a few regulars delivery drivers and he is so kind, i leave my front door at the bottom of the stairs open in the mornings as i've bad knees and i can't get down the stairs fast enough before most people leave... anyway he'll ring the bell then wait for me to appear at the top of the stairs and bring my packages up for me, every time. always a nice word to say to, lovely lovely man

oh and i got my batteries yesterday too, 11 day wait but a good bargain price!

I got mine yesterday from a very rude delivery man, who absolutely hammered on my door (heart nearly stopped with the fright - I am a young female living alone!), then proceeded to try and OPEN my front door (fortunately locked), before hammering again 2 seconds later!

Great deal though, and didn't mind the wait. Just a shame about the delivery man!

Can anyone comment on the life of these batteries? The amazon reviews are not useful, one guy said they lasted ages in his TV remote - well there's a surprise!

:D I can laugh about it now although it wasn't funny at the time - I thought the police were trying to break in or something! (not that they would have reason to)

I've just never known a delivery man trying to get in the door to someone's house before!
