can this debt collecter come knocking at your door..with out proof the debt is mine..i rented my house out ages ago.and av regreted it since .am back at the addy..and now am getting knocks on door thanks:money:

    wensday as kicked off early so i wanna get my thred in on this before all ave there bit and i miss out like i did the other day like i say then i is with the op on this cos it aint fair that he got ppl nok on is door if this aint is det cos he jus moved back to the addy so ow can it be?

    they can't know you have only moved back in, but they will know that you own the house. surely the name of the person who they are chasing will show it isn't you, and i am sure you will have their contact number and you can find out where they have gone to ar at least give the debt collectors a phone number to ring?

    Tell them the previous tentants left for The Moon last year and didn't leave a forwarding address.
