Made me laugh when I read the Moss Bros guide for grooms...it has 'propose to your girlfriend' as something that he needs to make sure he's done. So does this mean that somewhere there are some men organised enough to be thinking about their suits before they've even got engaged???

Went into the tailors last week (6 months in advance) and was told we need to order all suits a minimum of 3 months before. Apparently some hire suppliers close their books at 4-6 weeks during the peak wedding season and from the brochures ive picked up locally most of the tailors use the same hire suppliers.

Im not taking any chances and ive booked the lads in to choose the suits next week.

Just do what I did, book him in at the suit shop, don't give him a choice and get him to try on all suits until he finds one he loves. My other half was quite relieved once he was all sorted and it took hardly any time at all. We have opted for hiring and have ordered everything for the men, all we need now is cufflinks.

    Moss Bros> Hire> done.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

    and its stressing me out!!!!

he knows what he wants but doesn't want to rush anything!! we get married in 5 months...

how long can i leave it before i start shouting!!

Leave it till you have been married 50 years. ;)
“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”
  • i don't know what suit style you are hiring, but we bought our suits in moss bro's.

we went in with a budget of £130 and he saw this sale suit and thought perfect when the sales assistant said "you can't wear that its like a school blazer!! whats your budget?!" so i told him £130 not a penny more.

we got the husbands suit for £130 which included jacket, trousers, shirt and tie and it should have been £250!

my point is when suit shopping be firm! the man we had was rude in my eyes which is why i was blunt in my answers but hey it saved me £120 haha x
