My OH bought a new suit- he finally went to the shop in early Nov for our wedding in mid-Jan... Thankfully it was no problem despite my OH being an awkward size to buy for (6ft8 tall)
Ooh the frustration when the OH wont keep up with the plans!!fran-o0 -
Personally I will be turning on the waterworks and stamping my feet 6 months before.
Does he have anyone else to get for as well?
I'm sure it will be fine though, there are lots of suit hire places or there's always the high street. I guess it's less of a big deal for the men than it is for the bride!First date 10.2.2002

yeah theres his best man, brother, dad and my dad!! Just really worried they won't get what they want because he's fannying around!0

Put it to him like that then maybe?
That's the route I'm going down... there will be him, best man, brother, stepdad, dad and his stepdad (maybe) That's a lot of men to get suits fitted to!!!
We're still over a year away, but OH still keeps telling me he's having either a bright purple suit or a suit like Snoop Dogg's in the Katy Perry, covered in sweets! Loser! I have much work to do on his dress sense!!!First date 10.2.2002

Hi there..sorry to stick up for your H2b, but we have been told by all the suit hirers that they don't need to see us until 4 months before the big day...no point coming before and then that wasn't a "if you don't come then, you won't get anything" deadline either. I think us women just get worried because of the HUGE length of time that our dresses and bridesmaids dresses take to come through, whereas it seems the fellas life (in so many ways!!) is sooo much easier !
