in Credit cards
Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank have extended the previously abysmal 5 month 0% deal to a more respectable 6 months 0% now on purchases and BT's - and still no BT fee!!!

Seen in the Indi yesterday, and confirmed at NW:

Now only 0% for 9 months on purchases with 4.9% for 12 months on BTs.
[The thing to note that's different with this card is that the dearest debt is automatically repaid first. So what you could do with this is BT initially, make min payments - spend min payments - for 9 months whilst the 4.9% is being repaid and the purchases remain interest-free - then at 9 months pay back the purchases accumulated - then at 12 months repay remaining debt at 4.9%. Another point is that the min payments are 3% not 2% of balance].....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
