Tesco Home Delivery

We've had several Asda home deliveries and we've never been entirely satisfied as there's always been loads of missing items or substitutions or things packed so stupidly (one item to a bag/all glass together in one weak bag, heavy things squashing light things) that we stopped completely and battled the shops.
Having a new puppy that we haven't had for a week yet last night we tried the Tesco online shopping. We used our first-order discount to get free delivery and booked a slot for 10-12 this morning putting in an order of £50. The website was easy to navigate, didn't log me out halfway through like the asda one used to and collected all the offers together so I could shop through those first before going onto the full price stuff.
When it arrived the young man was so polite and informative, he knew his job and ran us through the order sheet in detail - nothing was substituted or missing. The bags were packed with related things all together [Pizza in one, ice cream in another, cheese in another etc etc] and the things that didn't need a bag were in one crate to make it even easier. The young man offered to carry it through to our kitchen for us but given the fact we'd got the puppy in there with my brother looking after her we just carried it inside but appreciated the offer.
Even when he left he was really nice and polite and the extra-organising of the bags made the putting away of the shopping so much faster and easier ^_^
Very impressed, well done Tesco :T :T :T

Make sure you check out the Online codes and discounts for Tesco..!!!
I do online shopping most weeks and can usually always get £5 of £50 shop code to use online.. This takes away the cost of the delivery, which is usually £5 ish..
I also am impressed with Tesco's delivery service. Everything is packed well and the drivers are always nice and polite
Saves me going to the supermarket and shopping with all the other mugs!
Also, shopping bill has halved as I always check out the offers page before I add in regular stuffBSC Member 155

I to have used Tesco - been excellent with no probs and a jolly nice man to boot!!
Always good to check the BOGOFS and offers first - handy hint - only buy what you would have bought anyway - don't get sucked into things!!! To easy to add £££ to the shopping!
Keep up the good delivery work!!!0
