....for my sister's son's amateur football team - but I have absolutely no clue how to do so.
I've tried reading online blogs and tips but to no avail.
. If I could sum up my internet knowledge in one word it would be clueless!
Does anyone have a step by step "idiots" guide of how to set up and design a website that they could point me in the direction of?
Eternally grateful for all responses/help,
MoneyMagician.

Check out GooglePage Creator at:
https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=pages&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fpages.google.com%2F<mpl=yessignups
It is free and is very easy as there are templates already set up and all you do is input your own information.
I have a club website set up using this. PM me for the address if you want to see the capabilities.

I used Moonfruit a few years back. It can produce very professional looking websites with little knowledge, and their support is reasonably good. It's not free, though.Super geek.0

Surely out of a football team (say 11 people), each with 2 parents (yes it's an assumption) and each parent probably having at least 1 sibbling, that's 44 people unless my maths is totally off, there's someone with a little more knowledge than you? Why aren't they doing this?0

There are websites out there already set up that allow you to add team details, league, player stats etc. I just cannot remember the name0

You can use serivces such as google or moonfruit and others which guide you and do the hard work for you. If you want to remain in control and be more creative you could use a web authoring software. I use dreamweaver cs3 which can make the job very easy for you. I think at this stage, unless you have others with more knowledge, you'd be best sticking to google or similar0
