Hi sallyrsm,
There is a discussion about this offer on the Grabbit board:
50p bread, eggs and butter in Asda for 1 week
I'll move your thread over later so that it can be added to that thread and leave a redirect that will point Old Stylers towards it.

Thanks sallyrsm. I wouldn't have spotted this on the quick grabbit forum - I try to avoid that one as I always seem to end up ordering stuff I don't really need!
After reading that thread though, I am going to buy the Daily Mail today; I have no qualms about using money-off coupons against my groceries, and £4.30 will make a huge difference even after you deduct the cost of the paper.

Hi Jailhousebabe,
I know what you mean about the Grabbit board and buying things we don't need but I nip over there most days to take a peek in case I miss something. I just have to try to be very disciplined and remember that I'm here to save money not spend it.
If you want to avoid Grabbit but keep an eye on newspaper offers there's a good thread every day on the discount vouchers board that lists the vouchers and offers in the newspapers. In todays thread: NEWSPAPER SUMMARY - Friday 27th June there's a voucher for a free water filter jug from Robert Dyas.

Went in today around 10am. Nearly everything had gone but managed to bag a couple of grapes, bananas, mince, bread.
I spotted also bags of SP peppers (assorted colours). 5 per bag, 20p per bag.:j Don't know if it's nationwide but worth checking0 -

Hi MagentaSue,
I get that the offers are for all; I bought the paper for the 2 money-off coupons inside it. I paid 50p for the paper, then got £4.30 off my grocery bill - a total saving of £3.80.
