we usually go to the pub for a half round here... or was it half a bottle of buckie???:p

Where I grew up was a un-salubrious sort of place, for a half you could 'get on' one of the girls - you were robbed mate.

The party was our staff summer beach party...........I wasnt expecting much.

    I was sooooo wrong....

Marquee done out totally with palm trees and all things tropical
    A Surf Machine
    A bouncy castle with slide
    Fire eaters/Jugglers/etc
Food to die for including dressed Salmon and Jamaican Dishes
    A steel band
    Free cocktails
    A chocolate fountain:D with marshmallows/strawberries/mini donuts

Loads of fantastic fancy dress costumes too...........and party games.

It was MINT!!!! really didnt want to come home although some of the younger members of staff were starting to get a bit carried away.

But best of all ..................I found out loads of gossip and scandal:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

We call those kinds of girls "bikes" - Len's must have been more rotund.

But I bet it was still a ride...

Lou - the party sounds absolutely amazing. I love jerk chicken, did they have chicken rice and peas???

We used to have the most amazing chef at work who was jamaican, he did fantastic jerk chicken (and everything else) - mmmmmmmmmm (and he was quite fit)

Out of the bath, feel all clean and shiny.. got clean pyjamas to put on and clean sheets on the bed.. isn't that one of the best feelings in the world? :)

Poor - it's not as if you're buying furniture every month and it doesn't sound like you were too frivolous.. although it's almost compulsary in Ikea to buy at least one candle/ plant/ vase/ random ornament... :D

Louise, party sounds fab and glad to hear your good news about your dad x
