Windows Installer trying to load

Hello,

Forgive me, but i do not normally post on this forum of MSE, and I have done a search but haven't been successful in locating an answer.

I have a problem when I try and open various things on my laptaop eg my computer, windows explorer etc that the windows installer box appears and tries to install Microsoft Money.

I have taken to using Firefox so I dont have this problem when using the internet (which i do so on a daily basis).

Any idea how I stop it from happening.

Was going to completely wipe the laptop and install everything again, but unfortunately due toa house move I can no longer find the cds to do so.
