I have not used my virgin card for ages and rang to see what offers I could have.....they offered
0% untill March with a 2.98% fee
Anyone know any ways or what to say to get the fee cut or the offer for longer?
Also, if I transfer £4500......and pay the full fee.....whats that the equivalent of in terms of a rate?
Thanks

Roughly 2.98% / 9 x 12 = 3.97% APR, although it'll depend on your statement date...the later in the month the better. Also, if I transfer £4500......and pay the full fee.....whats that the equivalent of in terms of a rate?0 -

I managed to get 0% until March 2009 with 2% fee on MBNA but they wouldn't budge any further than that.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Well done! :T
I guess it all depends who you get on the phone on the day. I was really pushing for 12mths @ 0% but couldn't get him to budge so decided to attack the BT fee instead :rotfl:
Actually just checked my account and realised they've capped it at £75 instead of 2% so even better than I thought!
