Well I didn't quite make my ebay target but I am not too bothered as I did manage to get 28 items listed. I am just hoping that they all sell and that people get in a bidding war over them :rotfl:

It is my first shift in my new job at the Odeon tomorrow. I have got really crappy shifts  Friday 1.30pm-10pm and Saturday 1.00pm - 10pm. Thankfully, I don't have much of a social life :rotfl: But I am thinking that I will be spending more nights at the cinema now as I get a photo card that gives me free cinema tickets, also half price on confectionary, plus a discount at the other places on the retail park, eg.Pizza Hut, bowling alley and more. Then I get 12 free tickets per quarter for friends and family. So it looks like I will having many free nights out at the cinema.

I am also hoping that my numbers will come up on the Euromillions as £92million would be a nice little bonus!!

I am actually feeling a bit nervous but I am sure I will be fine. I don't start until 1.30pm but I am planning to arrive at 1.00pm as I haven't got my uniform, locker etc. so I thought it best to arrive early. I don't relish the thought of working until 10pm but that will be the busiest time for them so I better get used to it. I have also got together a few bits for my breaks so I am not tempted to buy anything and I will only be taking £3 incase I need a drink, but hopefully they won't be that expensive :rotfl:

Well I must go as I have a walk and a bus to catch. Plus it is raining  but I do have an umbrella and waterproof jacket so hopefully I won't get too wet on my journey.

I keep getting more nervous as the time moves on _pale_ but I need to "Feel the fear and do it anyway."

First off I am really liking my new job :j it is hardwork as it can be quite physical as I have been cleaning the screens after people have left and going up and down stairs. Plus as I have been off work for a few months I am not used to being on my feet all day but I am sure I will get used to it. But at least it is fun and the people are really nice.

Then on a scary note  I start college tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it but I am a bit nervous. I am sure it will be fine and she won't be expecting too much of us on the first day, well hopefully!

I am not going to set an ebay mini goal as I am not too sure how much time I will have. Plus, I am feeling very tired at the moment and I don't want to overdo it and risk my health.

I have finished my first week of college and it was so much fun. We were thrown in at the deep end a bit as we had an assessment yesterday and I now have an evaluation to write, plus I have a play to read. I thought she would just be breaking us in gently but I guess we should start as we mean to go on. It has been hard work and obviously being out and about again when I am used to sitting down under laptop all day is a bit of a shock to the system.

Have got my hours for work and I am in Friday 6pm - midnight  and Saturday 11am - 9pm. But these are the busiest days and I knew this before I applied so I can't complain. I just hope that I get used to my new busy life and make sure I rest as much as I can and not make myself ill.

As of next week I will be taking my own lunch to college as the canteen is very expensive. It has cost about £3 a day and not really for much, it would be far cheaper and healthier to take my own. I would be able to have a lot more for lunch and for a lot less.

I may try to do a bit of ebaying today but I am not going to set myself a target as I have college stuff to do. I still want to continue with my ebaying to bring in extra money and also to clear all the boxes we have. I will just have to get into a routine and see how much time I actaully have. This is when I will need to learn how to manage my time efficiently.

Must go now and do a bit and see how much I can actually get done before 5.30pm when I need to prepare dinner.

  • That's great - although you're tired, you're sounding so much happier than you were, good on you for taking the steps to get there! :T

It was a big thing for me going back to college and starting a new job at the same time. But I am so glad that I did it as I do feel a lot happier. I was miserable for so long as I wasn't doing anything about it  but now I feel like a whole new person :j

I am still very tired as my poor little body isn't used to work and college yet. I am determined to make this work as I really want to finish college and pay my mum back, plus in an ideal world I would like to have some savings before uni. I know these are all achievable if I just knuckle down and stop wasting money. I also must make sure I get enough rest so I don't make myself ill and have to take any time off work.

On an ebay note my auctions finished today and I have made about £35 which isn't too bad but I don't have anything on there at the moment  I need to find a happy balance between doing my college work and ebay listing. I want to have cleared all my boxes by the time I go to uni and as I have about 20 I still have a long way to go. I really must get stuck into ebay and plan my time better.

Well I must go as I need to finish reading a play and shower before bed. There just aren't enough hours in the day

We had dance class today and I think she was trying to kill us :rotfl: I am totally out of shape and it was such a shock to the system. She started us off with a 45 minute aerobic warm up which we all thought was hard but she said she was breaking us in slowly  Then we had to learn a dance which isn't as easy as it sounds! Thankfully, we were only in half day but I sill have work to do for next week so this is just a quick stop.

I am not in college or work tomorrow so I get a day of well needed rest, as long as I can get the majority of my work done this afternoon. I do have to go into college tomorrow evening to watch a play but that shouldn't take too much out of me! I also need to ring up for my hours at work later and I do hope they are easy. For the last couple of weeks I have been working Friday and Saturday night but I won't assume that I will be doing that again.

On a very good note I am not too far off getting under £10,000 :j only £500.01 to go. I am hoping to pay more off than that at the beginning of October but I will just have to see what my budget allows.

Also, it is my birthday on the 27th and it is happy but then that would just leave me 12 months before I want to be debt free:eek:

I have set myself a new mini goal and that is to get under £7500 by the end of the year. A bit of a tough goal as I am doing less hours now and also have more out goings. It will be tough but I will do my very best to reach it.

    Mini Goals
    Get under £7500 by 31/12/08 - £0/£3001
