Bank of Scotland Standard Credit Card 27% apr

http://www.bankofscotlandhalifax.co.uk/creditcards/standardcard.asp

just got the agrement today after applying online :) anyone know how long before i get the card?

also they offer online baking that a lot of others dont eg aqua

is 27% intrest but intend to pay off in full each month
just liked the style of card :) and its mastercard :)

thought all the sub prime club would be intrested :)
as im in that club even after 5 years :(

i now have a

loan @ 3k for 3yrs about 50%apr :( well gutted paid 7 months off so far
new car @ 0% for 5yrs £150 pm 9k paid for 4 months so far
nationwide cc £2600 limit only £400 outstanding
capitalone clasic card £200 @ 0% till nov with £0 balance then 29% intrest
and my new b.o.s card no limit aranged yet @ 27%

i have killed my cc score with about 40 searches in the past year.... so my aim is to keep paying my loan till jan n get a virgin 0% card n shift it to that :)

i only have the nationwide cc as its free abroad and it has a large limit, so ideal for emergencys its only 17%

did have:
2k nationwide cc
£500 capital one cc
£500 barclays cc
£500 egg cc
£450 aquacard
£250 vanquis

all were maxed out till i got my loan in dec 07 that i paid them all off with the loan and a lot of savings :) most was built up from uni
the reason i had all the searches were trying to get 0% cards as i knew i could pay it all back @ about £350 a month if not more....

no one would give me one :( only good thing is no missed payments or late payments on my profile at all...

Did you really mean 50% apr ?

I'm curious as to why you would take out a loan at 50% apr to pay off your credit cards. You say the rate on the Nationwide CC was 17%, and that was 2K of your debt. The other 1K of credit card debt must have had a seriously high apr to make the loan worthwhile.

    yes that is correct

i think nationwide is done by themselves

i do all my banking with them so all my wages go into my current account

i felt i wasnt getting anywhere paying back cc with 35% intrest....

and no cc would look at me with them all maxed out, so i got the loan... my aim is to get a good 0% card in a bit with noi searches on my profile and do some stoozing :)

Please correct me if I have misunderstood... but you're planning on trying stoozing while you have a loan for 50% APR? Tell me I've misunderstood!

EDIT: I read the post properly now and see that you're planning on paying your loan off in January... but still, pay off all your debts before you begin stoozing.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
