continued about scs!!!!

i have rang scs to say i want my deposit back as they have taken libertie with delivery my sofa its been well ova 6 weeks now. Well they said i cant have my deposit back i did think this but they are also saying that my product is in stock now and that i can not cancel it.
I said i dont want it and ill lose me depost and they have told me as i have ordered the sofa i have to pay for it now.
Is this right???
My husband told them that we do not want it they said they are delivering it when they are ready and it supposedly says in small print that is there right.
I told hubby just dont tell them bank details or owt.
Can they really make us pay the rest of the money for this sofa??
Cause i thought a deposit is lost if you cancel something not that u have to pay the full price for the item.
Any help would be gateful!!!
Also as we paid a deposit by debit card can they take the remaining amount out of there without our permission???

how long was the lead time you were quoted?, how many weeks has it been now? how many weeks will it be when you get the goods?

do you actually want the goods still?
