Why are you using both? You can use IE from within firefox by using this addon.
When was the last time you restarted your computer? have you defragged/de-spywared recently?
This sounds like processor lag, where you're overloading your computer with instructions/things to do, and it can't keep up. If the game you're running is resource-intensive (anything 3D or multiplayer), then this is more likely to be the problem. In this case, in the long run, you will probably benefit from a RAM upgrade, if not a new computer. You will have to produce your computer spec in order for me to tell you if this is the case, as well as the name of the game or at least a rough idea of how resource intensive it is.Super geek.0 -
The game is Football Manager 2008, so no graphics. I use firefox for usual stuff, but arnt able to paste stuff onto it, and IE is for ebay stuff which pasting is ok. Ive no idea why its this pc, as every other one i use is ok. restarted it a few hours ago as it was unbelievably slow, defragged it last night and used ad aware last week.0

You can't paste stuff into it? Have you updated to FF3, the latest version? As for the problem, I can't suggest much more, really.Super geek.0

Could it be something to do with the screen resolution, and if so it there and way to standardise it.0

Does Football Manager normally run in a window, or did you specifically ask it to do so?Super geek.0

I think ive sorted it, i changed the screen resolution to the second from lowest and things seem to be better, although alot bigger. Time to take the pc to the shop i think and get it upgraded.0

In that case, you hit the nail on the head. It'll be running in another resolution, and changing windows artificially by using the windows key forces it to change back to windows resolution, taking processor time and causing lag. This or thismight help, possibly allowing you to run it in a window.Super geek.0
