:mad: i just got my beneficial cc statement and it says that from next month the interest has gone up
its going from 27.9% to 33%
how the fook am i supposed to get my debts down with rises like this ?
i know that in this current climate and the already existing rip off country of ours things are hard but come on !!
if i could apply for a 0% card i would but iv got circumstances, that i dont want to go into, that stop me from doing so
spose il have to tighten my belt even more
iv already cut this card up :mad:

    I sympathise, CC companies seem to be raising rates severely for those not in a position to do aanything about it. Try calling them and explain your circumstances and if that doesn't work write to them.

    Perhaps those " circumstances " are reflected on your credit file and
    beneficial may of been made aware of it and upped your apr..
    only thinking outside the box m8, does your file look OK???

    not really sure
    iv never had cause to look at it
    i would have thought my file was ok as iv never missed payments on any loans or cc's i have
    why would they put it up for people who are struggling and run the risk of them going for a dmp or even bankrupt etc and finish up getting virtually nothing ?
    i can afford the payments im making at the moment but if things go the way they are id be struggling
