Going to Turkey, £=?

Just booked a 7 night stay in Turkey at a 4 star place for £240.

Now I need to know what currecny to purchase, I notice on https://www.xe.com there is new turkey lira and turkey lira??

Also how much is the lira worth, not going to be spending much just on meals possibly a couple of boat trips how much should I exchange for a week?

Also what clothes to take this time of year?

The New Lira is around 2.20 to the £ (old Lira was 2.2 million...). May get better advice on prices if you post which resort you're going to - I was in Bodrum a few weeks ago (day trip from Greece) and everywhere seemed to accept £, euro, or Lira (prices were similar to Greece as well).
