Who are better? ASDA or Tesco?

Ditto my ASDA, Poppy. Think its because of lower prices and the location (mines in a town centre, you can get a bus outside the door) but shopping online you don't have to deal with it, and I've never had a problem with getting an Evoucher redeemed at ASDA, but I have on numerous occasions with Tesco.July Grocery Challenge Budget £160

Where I live it's the opposite - but then, the Asda is in a more middle class area - all the 'rough' types seem to go to Morrisons!Poppy9 wrote:I don't often venture to Asda as it's a bit of a hike. I do like their takeaway curries though. Great value for £5.70 meal for 2, I had one tonight - not all to myself

I hate to say this but the Asda I went to today does seem to attract a rougher element. i.e. if you are in the queue for Pizza or Takeaway and dare to leave child in queue to have a look at what's available so you can get your order in quickly, you get shirty remarks and dagger looks as if you are intending to push in. Have to say wouldn't argue with most of them with their poker straight stiff hair with big blonde bit on (and that's just the blokes!). Also the mothers try to dress the same as their teenage daughters. Teenage daughter without a middle roll and fat !!!!!! look fine in low slung jeans with their thong showing (well okish) where as the mothers with their jeans sitting on their hips cos they have no choice - there is no way they would make it up any further
and their strappy vest t-shirts with completely different colour bra staps showing just look :eek:0
