it is no wonder if you were doing 60mph in a 30 zone.

PS they didnt force you to do 60. once they were doing a speed you felt was reasonable you could have tucked back in behind them

Today I had an experience trying to overtake a car traveling at 20 - 25 in a 30 zone. When they noticed me overtaking the instructor must have told the learner to accelarate - this action forced me to increase my speed to 60 to overtake. I will never recommend this crowd for instructor led courses. The sort of behaviour displayed today shows that they have no regard for road safety. This is not the sort of behaviour you want to teach new drivers - no wonder there are so many accidents???

You're behind a learner doing 5 mph below the speed limit. Learners tend to stick to fairly residential routes so I'm guessing it wouldn't be long before said learner reached a junction and turned a different way. Instead of waiting (hey, we were all learners once), you accelerate to 60mph in a 30 zone, just to overtake.

No wonder there are so many accidents.

BSM could easy turn this around into a positive.
Sending / Giving out an info sheet at the point of booking to all new customers, introducing the instructor and putting the learner at ease for lesson 1.
That's gotta be worth £55 of PR ?
