What can i do possibly?

Hi,

I have paid for an item which i had to wait 2 weeks to get on ebay. But its now over 30 days and still havent recieved the item. I have contacted the buyer and he said he has tried to send the item but the address which i have given does not seem to work which i dont get as i never had this problem before. I got the tracking number too.

I paid through ebay before 30 days, i take it i cant get my money back if its 30 days+? Is there anything else i can do as its 100 quid which im losing out on.

firstly check the tracking number on royal mail website or relevant one. Open a dispute on paypal if you hopefully paid on there.

talksoccer, your post is a little confusing and you may need to clarify to get the correct suggestions on here.

Assuming that you mean that *you* bought something that didn't arrive, then you have 45 days to start a paypal chargeback, so start that now and let the seller sort out what has happened to the parcel.

I don't understand the bit about the wrong address though, sorry, although an item worth £100 would have been sent by special delivery so receipt should be easy to confirm or deny.

You've got 60 days to report an item as not received on ebay. I recommend you do that immediately with ebay! If u paid using paypal do the same immediately with them. You still have time...

The order was from abroad and was through ems. Basically its a bulk item and they sent it through to the UK but the parcel didnt find my address.

So paypal is 45 days
and ebay is 60 days

Is that correct? What if the seller gives the tracking number and suggesting he sent the parcel but it couldnt find my address, does that mean i still get a refund?

I don't know anyhting about claims through ebay as I only ever use paypal but for paypal claims unless the seller can prove delivery using an online tracked method, you will win a chargeback claim.
