If you fill the tank and run it until empty you have, on average, half a tank of fuel on board.
If you half fill it and run until empty you have, on average, a quarter tank of fuel.
So the weight saving is a quarter of a tank. say 15 litres or 11 kg.0 -
I run as far down as I can (whilst still being able to get to a supermarket for diesel). Don't see the point in "topping up" with £10 here £20 there, some people must spend more time in filling stations than driving! Also there's all the fuel burnt as you take a detour to the station then waiting in a que0
