One brown spotted boy and one snow marbled girl. They were sooo cute together. TY everyone... of course we all miss him but at least I know I did the right thing by him and didn't let him suffer!
DH and me are just waiting for the right kitten to come along.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
Lilly, what is the F1 F2 etc?0

Oh Magpye, they're gorgeous!

And Kimberley, F1, F2 refers to the number of generations from the original 'parent' cats that developed the breed.
So F1 is the first generation, F2 second generation etc. The issue with the earlier generations is that they have more of the 'wild' traits of the original parent animals, and so not very domesticated.0 -

I understand that now

They are adorable Magpye, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure you will find the right kitten when you are ready.
xx
Kimberley, as posted F1 etc refers to generation. It is not recommended you have one earlier than an F4 as a pet.0 -

The litter i'm going for will be later this year and i've seen the grandparents papers etc and it seems the litter will come with a 5 generation pedigree GCCF or TICA registration.0 -
This is the link for the Bengal Cat club. I believe they are the most expensive pedigree cat at the moment - http://www.bengalcatclub.co.uk/0

That is good. I am sure you will be very pleased with your new baby when you get it.
Just remove all precious ornaments beforehand as s/he will climb!!!
But they are so cute you let them off with anything.

Reading the posts on this thread brought a huge smile to my face and put tears in my eyes -
I had a wonderful 1/2 Bengal 1/2 Burmese Cat and he was the most wonderful pet in the world. They are not like normal cats - very loving - mine would always be by the door waiting for me to come home, and loved to be around people. They love to be the centre of attention - mine would give his paw like a dog just to show off infront of people!
If I left the bathroom door open when I had a shower he would be in the shower within seconds they love water (not so good when they come in after being out in the rain!)
My little man is no longer with us but he was the most amazing cat in the entire world and I can't recommend the breed highly enough!
(I love all the photos of your lovely cats!)100% MFW :j0 -
Bengal/Burmese cross sounds like a lovely combination. My mum used to have burmese when I was small, but unfortunately I was too little to remember them properly, and we didn't have cats for a good few years afterwards. It wasn't until I was 15 or so that I came across them again, when we began to cat-sit an elderly chocolate burmese for a friend of the family. Imagine my suprise when upon meeting Tosca for the first time he meowed and then casually climbed up me until he was draped around my neck like a scarf, where he happily went to sleep.
Apparantly the look on my face was priceless!0
