Applied for and got one of these cards, but find ou after there was no interest free period. Filled in, online an application for Alliance and Leicester, and found out while filling this form in, that both Nan Utd and A and L cards were supplied by MBNA.
Phone call from MBNA, couldn't hav an A and L as I had a Man Utd card. Told them to scrap the Man Utd card, and guess what, I received an A and L card with 0% for 9 months.
Just transferred balance from Halifax as this was`at an end.
Credit card tart or what!!!!!!

So, you look at the terms and conditions BEFORE you apply.
Thank you for an informative thread that we can all learn from.0 -
And of course a lesson to check the T&Cs correctly! ManU card has a 59 day interest free period, same as other MBNA cards.0

Hven't any of you been in a hurry when you are accosted by these salespeople?
Was told there was an interest free period, picked up a free Man Utd football and went on my way.
Hands up though, should have read T&C's for myself.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0
