Football Club needs better banking

Hi,

This is my first post so hi to all..

I run a small local footbal club with a very small turnover each year but really need to make the best of what little we have.

We currently bank with the Natwest, and to be honest it's not the best for us in teh way of service.

I am therefore looking to move accounts for something more accessable and friendly and more to teh point that benifits the club.

I am also looking at withdrawning 10 of whatever the club has in teh bank each month end, and putting it in a savings account that will generate interest. this ammount could vary from a few pounds to tens of pounds.

Does anyone have any suggestions of some good solutions please.

The last time someone asked this question I suggested this one.

A&L has the Community Instant Reserve Deposit Account at 4.02% AER https://www.alliance-leicestercommer...t/SU020005.asp

I am not sure what the minimum required to open it is though.

Don't your T&Cs require you to have multi-signatory accounts? Such as Treasurer's accounts .... with, perhaps a linked deposit account?

.... if it drops the data again .... go to Budgeting and Current Accounts (2 forums below this) ... open it and then insert 'Treasurer' (but without the quotes) in the 'Search this Forum' box at the top right of the forum. Should give around 25 threads to look at for inspiration?

I would expect that the forum software is caching the searches and replacing them with a "searchid". Once the searchid disappears from the cache the link will stop working (until that searchid value becomes valid again which will take a very long time). i.e. I don't think that you can reliably post links to searches.

Chimp871, natwest do have a clubs and societies reserve account if that helps. Not sure what problems you have had with the service with NatWest but worth a look at the guides and then do what is in the interests of the club.
