I can confirm this as I've just done it. Strangely though it doesn't mention that the BT is free for the first 6 weeks. Why? You would have thought they would use it to get people to take up the card
I don't believe it!0 -
I applied the other night & the 6 week business was clearly noted. Shame about the letter I got from them this morning declining my custom!Ethical moneysaver0

Did they invite you to appeal their decision? If so, I'd recommend doing so. I successfully appealed by writing a brief letter and enclosing 3 months bank statements. I also told them (truthfully) about my savings and mortgage details.realaledrinker wrote:I applied the other night & the 6 week business was clearly noted. I have to say though, that in overturning their decision, they did nothing to improve their reputation for being an irresponsible lender - because I wouldn't have given me a credit card with my levels of (stoozing) "debt".
I've posted on here before that I'd been told by the manual underwriters at LTSB that they "regularly" decline credit card applicants who don't have a LTSB current account.
Definately worth appealing in my opinion - and they didn't even credit search me again before accepting me!0
