    well done for cancelling, Beth.

A few initial thoughts on your SOA:

What are the rates of all the credit cards? It's best to try to clear the ones with highest interest rates first.

You've not got anything for food or entertainment or any of the small incidentals like newspapers.

Liz, I see you have 2294.90 outgoing and 2722.00 incoming before food. Do you own a car? if so, this needs to be written on the SOA. Clothing, entertainment etc. I think you need to speak to the CCCS, with the other outgoings I have mentioned I suspect you will have a negative surplus.

Do contact one of the debt charities, they will advise you.

p.s. I have added a few comments in the soa.

now you understand your position you will be able to reduce your DFD..

This is because you are going to concentrate on REDUCING your outgoing, and INCREASING your incoming...

You need to budget tightly..youve had the party and now comes the hangover..

Increase your sons lodging in proportion to his wage...
This seems very low..i doubt that would even cover his share of TV, Council tax, Morgage, Water, phone line, broadband ect...

Also if you snowball off the high interest debts, or the lowest debts...you will be reducing your DFD massively...

    Look at the snowball calculator

Also get everything on Ebay as possible...

    Hi again, Beth

I'm not sure what you/cccs mean by 'other household essentials' but you might like to start thinking about reducing your food bill.
Take a look at the 'MoneySaving Old Style' forum on here. It has some great advice on stuff like menu planning to avoid wasting food, using up leftovers, cheap ways for cleaning etc.

delboy mentions your son's board, £25 per week DOES seem low, if he's working maybe he should pay more.

Beth, it sounds like you've had your LBM and are seriously planning to work on getting out of debt, I do hope your hubby is on board with this too.

    Good luck.
