Went bootsing today to cheer myself up:

2 x 12.99 > 3.25 ea (incl. 15ml eye cream/50ml day cream/125ml eye makeup remover)


2 x 18.99 > 4.75 ea (incl. 50ml day and 50ml night firming creams and 24 wipes)


...and not on Boots.com for DDs:

2 x simple foaming cream cleansers > ? > 4.69 ea
2 x Nivea Young control shine cream > ? > 1.38 ea

...and also got the Botanics Body Treats Bag (the GWP) for 2.50 + BOGOHP = so 2 for 3.75.



Been wanting to try the Sanctuary and simple for a while. Quite impressed with the decent sizes in the simple packs. Not a haul of points, but good buys.

BTW - no sales per se. I was thinking that last time they started the sale at 50% with big signs and then the signs went to 75%. So look for these...

Mine didn't - Worksop and got Avent travel set, 4 little bottles in a bag £2, nothing else though and no Model Me range, had ACM vouchers to use with till spits - tiny store though have to travel to Meadowhall!

Hi guys

Just popped into Boots in my lunchbreak and they were reducing all of the fragrance gift sets that had previously been 50% off to 75% off!! These extra reductions had not been on this morning as I had a set price checked.

May be worth a look as they make cheapish but expensive-looking pressies! Not sure if this is nationwide but may be worth checking!

As predicted the sets I bought last week at 50% had been reduced down further :rolleyes: I shall learn to bide my time next year!

Haven't been into Central since last week - nothing exciting I'm afraid. Perhaps Sally06, Darkangel or Mel (??) can advise?

New magazines are in the 2 stores I went to today (with booklets), and yes, I got haircare till spits today.

cant you buy the cheaper ones and return the ones you paid more for??

Thanks for that. I will try and pop in if I can. We are going to see Duran Duran - my first concert just for me which my DH brought me tickets for my birthday in April (been to see Girls Aloud twice with my DD's!!) so I am looking forward to it!!

just wanted to say thanks to pash who kindly offered to send me a JK nail file for DD collage collection, we received it this morning.

No bootsing for me tomorrow, got radiotherapy session tomorrow morning so will be thinking of jill and her family while being proded and poked by my consultant.

Afternoon all

Well thought id pop into a few boots stores myself this morning and what a let down. I was expecting loads of reduced stuff but hey I didnt see much.

Managed to get a ted baker wash bag for £1.25 and used the summer mailing 200pts voucher which had to be put on manually. Also got some face masks which were reduced to 23p.

I also bought styling spray and used the 250pts new mag voucher and the 250 points acm voucher and the £2 till spit.

The sa put through the £2 till spit 1st which was fine, then the 250 mag voucher which beeped, then the acm voucher which was fine. She did however add the points from the new mag voucher at the end.

So ended up spending £3.99 with 500 points back.

Shame the till beeped, especially on the new voucher, wasnt expecting that especially seen as how the other voucher hadnt been scanned yet.

Think I might try in this order the next time see if that makes a difference.

Mag voucher then acm voucher then till spit.

Anyone else tried this today?
