    Hi all

Ive been a bit of a lurcher watching this thread for a week and decided to give this collecting points thing a try.

I never used to bother with the machine in boots were you can get offers etc, in fact I rarely remembered to use my boots card. Not any more. Ive been inspired and I think I will become an addict.

This forum is just ace overall really, but all the extra tips about points from Boots and Tesco etc is just fab. Just excuse me if in the future I ask people to explain the abbreviations you use.

    xx Lisa xx

    Welcomeee lisa! :hello:
Nice to have you on board :D
Don't you worry you will soon have this bootsing lark down, it does seem a bit complicated to begin with... i still get muddled up with my vouchers at the till! Its a great thread with a lovely bunch of people, ask as many questions as you need too, we all love to help as much as possible!

You will be a addict in no time... eating, sleeping, breathing boots lol!

Looking forward to hearing about your first bootsing trip!!

    Xxx

    Hi Guys!

I haven't been posting for a couple of weeks.
I have been diagnosed with breast cancer:mad:

But the good news is ,its small and very early.I have had loads of scans etc and the consultant says its very treatable.I am having a lumpectomy (23rd July) followed by radiotherapy.

I am very positive (most of the time) its just a bit scary!

The other good news is I will need/be able to visit Boots during my recovery.I will pass a Boots on my way to the hospital for my daily radiotherapy:rotfl:

Just keep your fingers crossed for me.

Sorry to hear of your news Dotchas hope all goes well on the 23rd my fingers are firmly crossed for you .

Take care and dont go overdoing anything you will need your strength to get through all of this. Bootsing will help relieve a bit of the stress and trying to work out all the current glitches will take your mind off your treatment even if its only for a short while

Best wishes to you - Keep smiling

    Love Vicky xx
Remember is nice to be important but more important to be nice

Sending you hugs and my best wishes Dotchas. I hope everything goes well, being positive will help you through difficult times.
Sounds like you have a good consultant, the best advice I can give you is to ask them lots of questions if there's anything at all you don't understand, feeling in control of things will help you cope.

Rooting for you and wishing you a speedy recovery.
