Thanks Tiara and Sam for that break down, how come it works out best to buy the more expensive, so if i were to get 6 lots of the 2.99 stuff they would all be free, but they wudnt take money off my shopping? I would have to use 2 vouchers to get the money off my shopping? Is there only oil thats 2.99? Thanks xx

    ....
Tried the voucher with the hand cream and it didn't work - paid for it anyway as wanted it.
    ...

Do you mean the Olay hand cream at 4.xx? I noticed that they are putting some of these out in new packaging, so I wonder if the barcodes have changed on the new boxes and it won't work with the PC vouchers anymore? I hope not, I have some I was saving for a 342 sale!!

I think for 350 pts I'd be tempted to take the clinique items back, get a refund and then re-purchase and this time use the total spend acm voucher. Not sure there's any other way to do it, as you have to use these vouchers on the day of printing.
I was in almost exactly the same situation: in the excitement of getting the new clinique GWP I totally forgot to use my total spend voucher on a £30 spend. So I went to take back the products (both skincare, which I had CS confirm the day before that I could definitely take back) and the Clinique woman first told me that they've 'never taken back anything like that' and then said I would have to go through customer services to take them back? She gave me a phone number but it was for Estee Lauder companies' customer services (of which Clinique is one). So I re-called boots customer services (while I was sitting outside the store) and they gave me a reference number etc and again, said I could just take the products back.
So I went into the store again and said what boots CS told me, but the lady kept saying returns were nothing to do with boots because clinique is just a concession, and all returns had to go through Estee Lauder customer services. She didn't even bother ringing up boots CS as she was adamant it was nothing to do with them. :rolleyes:Eventually she said she would send back the products herself and I would recieve a cheque from Clinique in about a week. (which I haven't had yet and it's been a week )
Sorry for going on, but I wouldn't want anyone to go through all of this rigmarole, although as is often the case with boots, it may be just that store that was being difficult! I can't see what on earth would prevent the products being processed like any other returns?
So to get the total spend, I would ring up customer services and see what they can do.

On another note, I gave all my expert baby vouchers to a new mum on here, so I would really appreciate if someone could swap both half price vouchers with me for one or two of the following. I have:

    £3 off oral B heads
    250 points on frames/albums
    Till spits
250 points on T&G (both mag and ACM)
    Save £2 on Max Factor
£2 off Frizz ease styling products MOC (non store dependent)

    Thanks! :)
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

Ive done £5 off olay, free wipes and 600 points 3 times now with no problem.

Did you get the hand cream in the old black box, or the new box, which I think is sort of a cream or white and gold? When I saw the new boxes, my first thought was, "I hope that has a barcode that works with the PC coupons!"

This is the old box, btw: hero.jpg

Isn't it only the unscented handcream that works with the PC Olay vouchers or am I thinking of something different?

hi, was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good leave in spray conditioner. DD is going into hospital and after have electrodes put into her hair for a few days she wont be able to wash her hair, nice nurse said just get some leave in conditioner and it wil help get rid of the sticky glue stuff and make her hair not so yukky!!!

I don't know about a leave in conditioner that would get rid of stickiness, but I love the Umberto Giannini overnight mask. You put it in before bed and don't have to wash it out, and my hair is so soft and smooth when I wake up! It's 4.99 and the till spit brings it to 2.99.

But you could also try a dry shampoo. There is one in the model.me range, which works with the till spit also and at the very least will work with the 250 extra points on the acm (and you may find an SA who will input the 250 points from the mag, too). hth

Only the unscented one was working with the 342 sale on facial skincare (even though it wasn't for the face, lol). For some reason the scented one didn't count in the 342 sale, but that sale is not on now and people have been getting the coupon to work on the cheaper hand cream.

Also i have some vouchers for swappsies if anyones interested.

    they are:-

    pampers bag
    modelme - 250 points x2
    toni & guy 200 points
toni & guy mini protect and style 150 points
1500 points when you spend £30 on oral b

Im after a voucher for those nice pink bag thingys that have been going through for free in an amazing glitch - think they are 9.99 and are in the baby department - look nice but not worth a tenner!!!

Pm me if anyone can help - many thanks sandra
Peanut butter should get the sticky stuff out of her hair, seriously.
Just rub a little bit into the glue with your fingers, pull down and slide the glue off her hair.

This works like magic on chewing gum too, I've used it on my kids hair in the past for chewing gum hair emergencies :D

Palice - just read your post on Clinique woman - thats awful!

I was in a store recently where the SA wouldn't give me a GWP as I was paying with points for all my items.

I spoke to the Store Manager to ask why I couldn't have the GWP, who took me back to the concession counter and told the SA "This lady has a Boots Advantage card - she can spend her points on anything she wants in the store - give her what she wants." Or words to that effect.

The SA was not happy - but I was glad that I resolved it in store.

I would go in and speak to the Store Manager and ask them to resolve it for you!!

    Good Luck!;)
