Had I been thinking, I would've said "Let me go get a shampoo instead of the shine spray" as that's only 50p more. But I didn't think to.

Both my SA and the one who had rang me up earlier said "well, maybe it's because it (the curl serum) is a mini." But it's not a mini; no minis are 6.99! So the SA went looking for the manager and after a long time came back and apologized because he couldn't find the manager, and I said that's ok, I'll just leave it. And there was another item he didn't want to give me points on that I had just got points for in my last shop (Sanctuary senso soap at 50p using Sanctuary ACM coupon -- but the SA put that in manually). He was quite nice about it, he just didn't know what to make of the beeping coupons.

The gist of it is that it looks like certain combos will make the TS mag coupon beep, and others won't. For me, it has not beeped with:

Long hair shampoo or conditioner
with
long hair curl cream or long hair curl serum

shine spray
with
LH curl cream

If you fight it when the till beeps, they should have to give you a long hair product for free as that's what the coupon says. The downside is that, if it beeps, they may then tell you you can't use other vouchers in conjunction with it. Very frustrating, and I'm really starting to think the SAs will dread seeing me coming as they'll expect me to have coupons that cause problems. <sigh>

Thanks for the update skibs...the till beep phenomenom just gets more bizarre!! ...fortunately so far with model me and the long hair coupon I have had SA's that are willing to override the till...good job I wasn't doing one of those shops today I don't think I would have been so lucky.

Thanks Polls ...just thought it was me...with being a regular customer thought that they had caught on to me bit like a passion and AB_KW scenario. SA yesterday asked me if I go on MSE:eek:. SA yesterday was fine and the ones on Friday let me have a couple of mags each time I was at the tills

Yes, this happened to me yesterday when I started trying to use 4 Time Delay 200 points vouchers in 4 transactions. SA said "One per customer", I queried it, she went off to check with management, came back and said "Definitely supposed to be one per customer but we'll let you carry on as you've started". I tried checking the vouchers I hadn't used and I don't think they said "one per customer" but from memory perhaps the Time Delay points one did??
Other people have noticed that the terms and conditions are perhaps being tightened up now. Strange.....

This combo worked for me with none of the coupons beeping. I got two lip protections and a men's face wash. I used the coupons you mentioned plus a second coupon for £3 off no7 men's from a newspaper and another 200 points off no7 suncare from the old mag (bought this all a couple weeks ago, and those last two I mentioned are out of date now), and it all worked. No7 was 342 when I bought it as well, so that didn't stop the till thinking I had spent 10 quid on suncare.

I have a TD mag voucher to hand and it says 'One coupon per person only'. I think it depends on the SA.

I got 2 of the Model me Henlena conditioners yesterday. On the first transaction one of the 250pts vouchers beeped (Dont know whch one) and the SA got the manager to add the points manually.

Later on I did the same transaction and it beeped again, SA said I could not use 2 vouchers, so I explained that I had done the same tranaction earlier. She went to see the manager who said I could not use two vouchers so I accepted this and just put the mag voucher back in my bag. But got the 250 pts.

I dont mind really as they were the last 2 ACM vouchers that I had anyway. I have not tried the TS one yet. Think I will just copy Amelias Mummys list and get those :rotfl: :rotfl: Thanks A.M. x
