has anyone used the combo successfully with the expert wipes at all?
I tried the Expert voucher with the wipes and got the dreaded beep. Thinks it's because the voucher says skincare even though it works fine with the shampoo!

Yep but thats Mr Boots for you hey. Very strange.
anyone tried it with the baby oil???

    - so if it worked on the baby oil (2.99) would the till 'give you back' 98p or 1.98??? - got a really bad headache thinking about this:rotfl:

    thanksX
Will be interesting to see if this'll work as the Baby Oil is £2.99 and on the 2 for £3 deal. If it does the till would have to take off £2.98 for the 2 for £3 deal. So if the vouchers have already taken off the price of the oil then you'd be getting paid £2.98 to take it away! May have to try this one! Hope this all makes sense.

Oh and also, I found a whole clutter of Jemma Kidd emery boards which I bought and got lots of points for my trouble. If these are still in your local Boots, go get them already! *** Can one of you gorgeous ladies/gents please explain the T+G Boots magazine offer to me please. I have been a few times with different products and the stupid till goes bleep. What can I buy that will work? I am wanting to use the magazine coupon and the acm one. Any tips? What product will go through and not go bleep? Cheers in advance.

The offer has finished in my store. I bought some last weekend and there were no extra points so returned them for a refund  There were loads instore, no wonder

Was at Fort Kinnaird yesterday and got these gift sets below
    Burberry Brit set for men
    Burberry London for men
    Amirage set
    Intimitely Beckham for women
    Roxy
    Lacoste Pink
    Britney fantasie
All around £6 - £8 great to put away for the teenage parties kids go to. They did have some left.

Also got Model Me conditioner - 250 points ACM, 250 points middle of mag and £2 off with voucher so £2.99 and 500 points, did this again for shampoo.

They also had plenty Time Delay for around £1.25 - £3 that you can get 200 points with coupon from back of mag. Works also with coupon I got in post for 200 points.

Not sure if this has happened to anybody else, but went to store today and was making first purchase and put 1 mag through with purchase..fine. Then I had another mag with the rest of shopping, SA said I couldn't have another magazine as I had already got one and they are supposed to be 1 per customer, queied with her where it said this as I could not see it on mag, she said that is what they have been told.. as I queried she went and asked the manager who said 'one per customer'.. strange as I got 4 the other day in that store  Didn't want to push my luck so will just try another store.

That is so frustrating when they try to change the rules and you know they're wrong, isn't it? I had a frustrating experience Friday, then went out for a paper today and of course had to go to Boots (at least I went to a different one!). And of course it was a bit crap on the second go-round again!

I bought the TS shine spray and a TS long hair curl cream (in the pink packaging). The coupons didn't beep and I paid 1.99 plus 100 points back. Then I went through again (different SA) with the shine spray and the Long Hair curl serum. This time the mag coupon for a free product beeped!!! I have bought the curl serum before without a beep, but I bought it with a shampoo or conditioner. Had I been thinking, I would've said "Let me go get a shampoo instead of the shine spray" as that's only 50p more. But I didn't think to.

Both my SA and the one who had rang me up earlier said "well, maybe it's because it (the curl serum) is a mini." But it's not a mini; no minis are 6.99! So the SA went looking for the manager and after a long time came back and apologized because he couldn't find the manager, and I said that's ok, I'll just leave it. And there was another item he didn't want to give me points on that I had just got points for in my last shop (Sanctuary senso soap at 50p using Sanctuary ACM coupon -- but the SA put that in manually). He was quite nice about it all and willing to find a manager (if he could track her down), he just didn't know what to make of the beeping coupons.

The gist of it is that it looks like certain combos will make the TS mag coupon beep, and others won't. For me, it has not beeped with:

    Long hair shampoo or conditioner
    with
long hair curl cream or long hair curl serum

    shine spray
    with
    LH curl cream

If you fight it when the till beeps, they should have to give you a long hair product for free as that's what the coupon says. The downside is that, if it beeps, they may then tell you you can't use other vouchers in conjunction with it. Very frustrating, and I'm really starting to think the SAs will dread seeing me coming as they'll expect me to have coupons that cause problems. <sigh>

This happened to me the other day. I had one in my tranaction and asked SA if she could scan me another one, and she said the same, only one per customer. I queried it and she said they had been told that was correct.

So I just went to the next till picked up a mag and the SA scanned it for me.

I think someone on here checked with CS and they said that it was only one per transaction. They will have a hard time trying to inforce one per customer unless they change their till system.

Also we will spend less there. I know I would, so Boots would lose out in the long run. I just cannot see it happening.
