Less wet towels

In the winter I get everyone to "dry" themselves with a face flannell first-then, when they dry themselves with a towel it is not left soaking wet. In the winter, this saves a lot of washing and drying. My mother taught me this as we had neither washer nor dryer. :j

Why only in the winter
Is the water wetter in winterDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Its colder in winter so there is less evaporation of the water on your skin into the air, hence more water staying on your skin.0

In the winter it's colder. So I want to snuggle up in a nice big fluffy towel. I can't see the flannel idea going down to well in my house.

In the summer you can hang your washing out to dry but in the winter its harder to do.
My mumused to hang ours out even if it was frosty and sometimes you could knock on it.0 -

We've got a couple of sooper dooper sized bath sheets that come out in winter so we can step out of the bath/shower and wrap up every inch of bare flesh to keep warm while we dry"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

This is something I've been doing since the summer. It really does make a difference, useful for those 2 showers a day times. Ah it's good to know maybe I'm not so odd after all.
I'd recommend those face flannel mitt type thingies. What goes around - comes around

I got them off Ebay last year and they weren't very expensive either! They're about 5ft x 6ft and plenty big enough to wrap you from head to toe"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
