It may well be relevent to those of us to happen to believe that they may actually be grateful for a bit of help. Notwithstanding that, as you say, trash comes in all sorts of different flavours, just a little more unsavoury to have to put up with it from someone who is being subsidized by ones tax etc.
You seem to be getting on some sort of xenophobic soapbox here. We know little about these neighbours other than that they are refugees and that they have somehow disturbed the thread starter and already your going off on one.

write to your landlord and ask him to deal with your noisy neighbours - he is responsible for his tenants behaviour. if they are from a different culture - they may have no concept of what is acceptable behaviour in this country - and may need it spelling out.

    Isn't that enough?

    Actually I'm not a xenophobe, I don't like anyone.

Truthful question, it seems for some people that's enough to get them started.

    But you particularly dislike refugees?

Didn't mean to thank you for this post btw.

Let the idiot Capt have his say, he doesn't get out on day release very often, but that is more than enough.

Someone who is relatively new to this site has come on and asked a question about terminating a tenancy agreement. Would it be too much to ask of some of the regular protaganists on here not to turn it into a slanging match, either about refugees/immigrants or about issues they have with each other.

I agree. It is time that action is taken against those who deliberately falsify and provide misinformation to the people with legimate questions. We all know who we talking about.

Where did I say that? I don't have any object to anyone who doesn't make their neighbours life a misery, but hey, that's the UK now isn't it?

And, in addition to what Clutton has pointed out, they may actually be professionally trained people, just don't have the UK exams yet which would allow them to work here e.g . Doctor, lawyer etc.

They could be potential nobel prize winners - if they can't respect their neighbours they should be sent back to wherever they came from.

Boris Johnson's aide was correct the other day. If immigrants don't like our lifestyle they are free to leave - that is the beauty of our country they a FREE to do as they choose. If I don't like something I'm free to do something about it. The OP's neighbours have been welcomed into our country supported by my hard work and taxes, the least we can expect is them to have some consideration for thos that pay for them.
