I dont think it was anything to do with his bank i dont know this as he didnt tell anyone anything all my mum knew was that he had a pension.
It was with taylor woodrows open cast mining in newcastle somewhere.
He was 60 in april just gone, 59 when he passed away.0 -
Pensions start usually at 60, perhaps he hadn't yet claimed it, in which case there may be a death benefit to be paid out to his beneficiaries (whoever they were.).The trustees of the scheme will do that.
You could try contacting Taylor Woodrow to advise of his death, but there's no guarantee you would be a beneficiary.

ok then i rang them today. i rang the darlington office. they gave me a number to the one in watford i had to ring them up they told me so i did i was speaking to a pension person lol anyways he took my details and said he'd get back in touch with me.0

It might be worth following up with a letter in case the details have been lost. But you need to keep chasing until they either find it or tell you there's nothing there. .Trying to keep it simple...0
