I would imagine a lot of people use a throw-away email for comps and such like - I do - and regularly throw it away, but when it comes to financial transactions I use my 'real' addy, I wonder how many people who do the same will have their orders cancelled.

Virgin should bite the bullet; honour all the orders and ensure at their end that it cannot happen again.

no I don't think they should honour all the orders,only the ones that were redeemed through winning emails should be sent out IMHO. It should be easy to check,they send an email saying you've won with the voucher code in and you redeem it from there so it's traceable.

I replied to their cancellation email last night and told them that I had won both vouchers on that account(which I had)this morning they've sent an email saying it's been shipped,so I'll just have to wait and see

i won vouchers on 2 seperate accounts mine and hubbys i used them fine my orders are at warehouse i did win vouchers from the comp but did not recieve emails

Vouchers MUST be redeemed against the email address that won ... AND for which you have been emailed.

Currently, we've only emailed winners who have won a single voucher (whether it be a £10, £7.50 or £5 denomination).

If you have won more than once - your emails will be sent in due course (and yes - they will have different codes) .. but again ... they can only be used against the email address that won them in the Instant Win draw .... and subsequently against the email address that WE send the voucher to.

e.g.

1. You have won a single £10 voucher against email address john@doe.com ...

We will have emailed the code to john@doe.com and that is the account you must redeem against (ie. if you have multiple email accounts - you MUST use it against the one we've emailed otherwise we will consider it to be a fraudulent use of the voucher).

2. You have won a single £10 voucher against john@doe.com and a single £10 voucher against jane@doe.com

Again .. we will have emailed you the codes (and yes - likely it was the same code) - but again - you can only redeem £10 against account "john" .. and £10 against account "jane". You cannot consolidate 2 wins under separate email addresses to one account.

3. You have won 2, 3 or more £10 vouchers against john@doe.com or you've won multiple denomination vouchers against john@doe.com

Chances are, we've not yet sent you the voucher codes or ... you may have only received one of them. We will send you the codes in due course and you will then be able to redeem them *AGAINST THE ACCOUNT WE EMAIL TO*.

4. You have won a £10 voucher and a £7.50 voucher against john@doe.com

Chances are, we've not yet sent your vouchers - or we may have sent you one. If you've come to this - or any other forum to obtain the codes and try to redeem them - even though you HAVE won them ... the redemption will fail UNTIL we have emailed you.

Please rest assured that all winning vouchers will be sent and honoured as per the contest terms and conditions. Each code can only be used ONCE under each email address - so the other codes for the same denominations will follow .... ... so PLEASE don't attempt to use a code "because I've not received mine yet" ... until it arrives in your inbox (please remember to check your junk / spam folders) ... because it will not validate.

I won a £7.50 voucher this morning, I wonder how long it will take to arrive?

I think they have messed this competition right up, with using the same codes i won a 10 pound one, and used it when i got the email, then the next day when the codes were put on here, i put the 7.50 and 5 on to my account, just see if it would work, i didnt order anything with them, still waiting for 2, 7.50s i won, but now it seems i messed up my account any way by putting on the codes from here. Still havent had my order from last week, no conformation email either, which i just think is slack, and would expect better from a big company like virgin, and i think the postage is to high for sending small cosmetics i think it was £3.95 and also think there stuff is expensive too, i have never used it before or know anyone who has, so dont know what the quality is like.

How daft is this?... my account it still showing the £10 that was credited to my account after using one of the codes, but the £5 that I actually won legitimately is nowhere to be seen.

Today I recieved two packages from Virgin Vie; both paid for using the codes posted here, there is no sign of the voucher I won.

Can someone please let me know where I can find the codes. I tried playing the silly game on the website (i'd say 50 times) & never won anything!
