Never had a problem getting cameras into any concert, they always say on the tix no cameras but I've never been stopped (and had a camera at every gig I've ever been too) I have noticed that security will stop you if it looks like you're recording rather than just taking pics (but only if they can get to you!!)
I've even been right up against the stage stood next to security taking photos!!!!0 -
do u know what time the actual concert starts pls? on my hubbies tickets it says doors at 16.30 but i am sure he doesnt want to sit there for hours if it doesnt start till 8ish lol0

Why would you want evidence that you've been to a bon jovi gig????
As someone has already said you're not gona get stopped taking your pocket camera in with you and taking some pics, its only silly sods with the canon eos' etc hanging from their necks that may have a problem.
all the best

All recent concerts I've been to there has never been any problems. In fact if you are at the front the “act” if they see you taking a piccie the they will often play to the camera.
Taking cameras in to gigs and sporting events was always taboo. However, as most mobiles now have a reasonable camera, there is absolutely no way that this can be policed anymore. As said above, if it looks like you are a pro or someone who is going to get some commercial benefit from taking photos the security people will have a word. Otherwise you should have nothing to worry about. Take piccies of yourselves, the gig, whatever and enjoy the memories.0 -
As has been said above, with the advent of mobiles with cameras the issue has become virtually unpoliceable, i was told at a recent sporting event by security/stewards that if the camera has a removable lens then you will be approached and spoken to, this generally means Digital SLR's where the quality of photo's is good enough that they could be sold on for profit.
Hopefully that helps0 -
