Options
Hi,
I'm new to the board, sorry if this post is in the wrong section.

it's my son's 2nd birthday in August and i want to buy him a battery operated car, the cheapest i've found one is £120, does anyone know of a website or place that charges cheaper?

Thanks

    spamtoith,

try Maplins, they usually have something. I saw a bike and a quad the other day. The bike was £30 and the quad £50

I don't know anything about this but I would have thought that you would get what you pay for. So it may be worth paying a little extra for a better quality toy that won't die after 5 minutes use.
Maybe you could ask to see each model working in the shop(s)?

Various bits and bobs here. How about these? They look like they could take a good beating, also this, which has been designed to take a thrashing.

    Fair winds!

I think the OP is after one the child rides in.

I'd second Maplins, they always seem to have a good choice. Not what you asked I know but personally I wouldn't get one, I'd get a tricycle instead. More fun and better for them int he long run.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

Oh, really? Wow, lucky 2 year old! Here are the Maplin toys, then, and plenty of them here.

And I'd third maplins. They have a good reputation and I have always experienced good service from them.
